PDF POCKET Privacy Policy
How PDF POCKET handles permissions, on-device storage, and your control over local data.
Last updated: June 19, 2026
← Back to PDF POCKETOverview
PDF POCKET is designed for privacy-first, on-device PDF work. We do not require an account, and we do not sell your personal data.
Because there is no login, there is no remote profile or cloud backup tied to you. Your documents and app history live only on the phone or tablet where you use the app.
Where your data is stored
All data created or saved by the app is stored locally on your device — not on our servers. This includes:
- Generated PDFs and exports in the app’s private document storage
- Recent, favorite, opened, processed, and scanned file lists in a local metadata file
- PDF thumbnail previews cached on your device for faster browsing
- Temporary imported files held in the system cache while a tool runs
- Customer Care drafts saved locally when email is unavailable
What stays on your device
The following remain on your phone unless you share, delete, or use Delete All Data:
- PDFs you pick from Files, Downloads, or the photo library
- PDFs generated by tools (merged, split, compressed, converted, scanned, etc.)
- Recent, favorite, and opened-file metadata
- Customer Care messages saved locally when email is unavailable
What we do not collect
We do not operate a login system in this app and do not collect names, emails, or passwords through normal tool usage.
We do not upload your PDF content to our servers for processing.
We do not sync your files across devices unless you choose to share them through another app.
Device permissions
The app may request permission only when needed:
- Files / Documents — to pick PDFs and save exports
- Photos — for JPG to PDF and gallery scan import
- Camera — for Scan to PDF
- Share sheet — to send finished files to other apps you choose
Customer Care
If you contact us through Customer Care, the name, email, and message you enter are used only to respond to your request.
When possible, your device opens your email app with a pre-filled message. A copy may also be stored locally on your device until you delete it.
Third-party apps
When you tap Share or Download, you choose where files go (Mail, Drive, WhatsApp, Files, etc.). Those services have their own privacy policies.
Data deletion
You stay in control of your data. You can remove individual files from Internal Storage, Downloads, or Processed inside the app.
To remove everything PDF POCKET has stored on this device — PDFs, history, thumbnails, cached imports, and local support messages — open About and tap Delete All Data.
Uninstalling the app also removes the app’s private storage and caches from your device. Files you previously shared to other apps or saved outside PDF POCKET are not deleted automatically.
